Goals:

To promote the intellectual and social education of pre-school children by using play activites and informal methods of instruction to aid in preparing them for kindergarten and elementary school.

Throughout the year, we work on a star chart with your pre-schooler. The chart has ten areas in which the children can earn stars. These areas are:

  • Know Colors
  • Count to 20
  • Print Name (only first letter capitalized)
  • Know Birthday
  • Match Numbers 1-10
  • Know Telephone Number
  • Know Days of the Week
  • Know Address
  • Tie Shoes
  • Know Body Parts

    • Keep in mind that all children at this age do not progress at the same rate. Some of these children will obtain all of the goals by the end of the year, where others will not.

    Pre-Kindergarten students attend in the afternoon from 12:30pm - 3:00pm either on Monday and Wednesday or on Tuesday and Thursday. The cost of this program is $50.00 per month.
